The NanoCom AM2150-P/PS is an S-band antenna solution specifically developed for systems that need a near omni-directional radiation pattern and circular polarization. It is designed to complement the AX2150 low power radio but is also compatible with other radio systems. By combining two patch antennas mounted on opposite faces of a nanosatellite, it achieves a near omni-directional radiation pattern without the need for deployable structures. The antenna system incorporates flight-proven patch antenna modules and two adaptor modules, both with a long and successful flight heritage. Key features include an advanced stacked patch antenna crafted with low-loss materials for optimal performance, a wide frequency range from 2025 to 2290 MHz, and Right-Hand Circular Polarization (RHCP) for superior signal quality. All metallic components are securely grounded to ensure stability and mitigate potential interference. The flexible design allows for no restrictions on coaxial cable and is insensitive to feed phase, ensuring seamless integration with various system configurations.
