About
The WiRan S-Band antenna is designed to provide full-duplex communication capabilities for data transmission, telemetry, tracking, and command (TM&TC) in space applications. It operates within the 2025-2290 MHz frequency band, offering good polarization quality across a broad beam width for both receiving (RX) and transmitting (TX) signals using a single antenna. The antenna is compliant with the CubeSat nanosatellite standard, making it suitable for small satellite missions. By default, it features Right-Hand Circular Polarization (RHCP), with Left-Hand Circular Polarization (LHCP) available as an option. It covers the entire S-Band, eliminating the need to wait for frequency allocation. For omnidirectional coverage on nano/microsatellites, the system is designed to be used with two antennas and a splitter. The antenna is full duplex ready. Engineering Models are available within days, and Flight Models can be acquired in days to weeks, depending on specific requirements. Additional technical resources such as STEP files, radiation patterns, and S-parameters are available upon request.
