The NEXTAR NX-300L is NEC Space Technologies’ standardized small satellite bus for Low Earth Orbit Earth observation missions. Derived from the ASNARO-1 development program, this three-axis stabilized platform accommodates satellites in the 300–500 kg total mass range and provides a heritage-proven, modular foundation for high-resolution optical and SAR imaging missions. The bus uses the SpaceWire communications protocol and SpaceCube2 on-board computer, and features autonomous control functions that reduce ground intervention and enable rapid mission turnaround. It supports S-band and X-band telemetry and command links, and accepts a wide range of Earth observation payloads.
