About
SMPOD is NPC Spacemind’s CubeSat deployer and separation system product line, available in SMPOD03-NOIR and SMPOD16-C (Caspian) configurations. Each deployer can host up to 4 CubeSats in a single unit with standard and XL dimension support.
The system uses a redundant fail-safe NEA (Non-Explosive Actuator) actuation mechanism with a redundant feedback system for deployment confirmation signals. Each CubeSat is securely clamped with up to 3 rails, and the structure combines aluminum and carbon fiber for optimized weight, offering the widest clearances on the market and compatibility with most launch vehicles.
