Description
The D-SP series extends NPC Spacemind's solar power line with deployable wing panels for 3U, 6U and 8U-class CubeSats, roughly doubling to quadrupling the power available versus body-mounted panels. Each size is offered in a vertical deployment configuration (V) and lateral configurations with either one wing (L-1W) or two wings (L-2W). All variants use the same high-efficiency triple-junction UTJ cells and onboard electronics as the SP body-mounted family: dual parallel Picoblade connectors, digital temperature and NTC sensors, coarse sun sensors, an inertial module (3-axis accelerometer + gyro) and a 3-axis magnetic sensor. An option exists to add extra solar cells on the body-fixed surface beneath the deployed wings, and panels can be customized on request.
