Power Distribution Unit

The Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is offered in four distinct variants, providing three different voltage output levels. These variants include battery voltage feedthrough (normal and high power), regulated 12-volt output, and regulated 5-volt output. Additionally, a regulated 3.3-volt variant is also available. The PDU is engineered with redundant Microcontroller Units (MCUs) and a redundant CAN interface for enhanced reliability. It incorporates current sensing on all 8 outputs, programmable battery input under and overvoltage protection, and output channel current limits. The 8 channel outputs are accessible via 4 rugged 8-pin M80 connectors. This PDU is designed for use in satellites, as evidenced by its features and the manufacturer’s focus on space-related products.
