This integrated unit combines a 1:1 redundancy switch and two blockconverters within a single 19″ housing, ensuring high reliability and performance. Key features include hot pluggable slide-in converters for easy maintenance and redundant power supplies to enhance operational resilience. The VSBU-Red boasts very low phase noise, specified at less than -50 dBc/Hz @ 10 Hz, and incorporates a highly stable OCXO with long-term stability better than 10^-7 per year. It also includes digital gain compensation for optimized signal integrity. The product supports various bands including S, C, X, Ku, and K(DBS)-Band, with an L-Band input.
