The Remote Control Unit M&C GaN SSPA/BUC/UC Systems Outdoor is a weatherproof unit designed for remote monitoring and control of new generation GaN BUCs/SSPAs/UCs. It supports management of redundant configurations (1:1, 2:1) and phased combination (1+1) for outdoor versions, as well as standalone units (up to 3). The unit features RS485, USB, and Ethernet interfaces, an embedded secure web interface, fault & alarm interfaces, and a redundant power supply for continuous operation. It offers full remote M&C capability of BUCs/SSPAs/UCs and switches configured in the system through a TCP/IP web interface. Communication protocols include RS485 ASCII Command, USB (type A) ASCII Command, ETH (RJ45) ASCII Command, Web interface, and an optional SNMP interface. Local interfaces include Status LED, Local / Remote, Manual / Automatic, Channel selection, Alarm, Waveguide switches, Fault, RF Inhibit Enable / Disable, Local / Remote monitoring, User attenuation, Presence, SSPA external On / Off, Fault State, Mute TX On / Off, Set alarm thresholds, Forward State, and Fault reset. The unit has dimensions of 404 x 220 x 151 mm and weighs 11.5 kg. It operates from a 180-305 VAC, 47-63 Hz power supply. The operating temperature range is -30 ºC to +55 ºC, and storage temperature is -40 ºC to +85 ºC. Optional features include UPC-Uplink power control, SNMP protocol, and a slave control unit (indoor).
