About
Satellite Vu’s Tasking service enables customers to commission new thermal imagery captures of specific locations at specific times, rather than relying solely on the pre-captured archive. Two tiers are available: Standard Tasking, which schedules a capture within a specified date range at standard priority, and Assured Tasking, a premium option guaranteeing capture on a specific date with highest scheduling priority over competing requests.
Both tiers include configurable exclusivity windows, allowing customers to withhold newly tasked imagery from SatVu’s public catalog for a defined period — important for time-sensitive commercial or security applications where competitive advantage depends on data exclusivity.
Tasked imagery is delivered through the same SatVu Platform, API, and SDK channels as catalog imagery, in Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF format with full STAC metadata.
