About
Solis Spacecraft Solar Arrays are designed to operate in the demanding conditions of Space, providing a reliable source of electrical power for various CubeSat platforms, including 0.5U, 1U, 3U, 6U, 12U, and 16U configurations. They feature mission-specific custom designs, deployables, and are LEO-optimised with faster turnaround times. Solis+ Spacecraft Solar Arrays operate in the demanding conditions of Space, offering power capacities in the order of a few kWs suitable for larger classes of satellites and spacecraft. Both Solis and Solis+ can be custom-designed by Dhruva Space’s team of design and engineering experts to meet specific mission requirements such as mass, power, longevity, and orbital parameters. Solis+ arrays boast high-efficient Triple-junction (up to 30%) GaAs Coverglass interconnected Cells (CICs), CFRP Honeycomb Sandwich substrate with local reinforcements, flight-proven hinges, and flight-proven, low-shock, and redundant Hold-Down and Release Mechanisms. They also support SADA (Solar Array Drive Assemblies) and BAM (Beta Angle Mechanism).
