About

The PJP-DT155 Desktop System is Space Foundry’s entry-level plasma jet printer, built for corporate R&D labs, university research groups, and process-development teams evaluating single-step printed electronics. Using Space Foundry’s patented plasma jet printing process, the system aerosolizes metal-ion inks, introduces them into a reactive plasma environment, performs in-situ reduction, and deposits conductive material directly onto the target surface in dry form — without separate pre-treatment or post-curing steps. It supports printing of conductive (copper, silver) and dielectric materials on planar substrates, enabling rapid iteration for antennas, sensors, and printed-electronics research. The platform has been deployed at NASA Ames Research Center, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, Sandia National Laboratories, Idaho National Laboratory, and universities including Monash, UCL, RMIT, Kansas State, Boise State, Norfolk State, IIT Kanpur, IIEST Shibpur, Oklahoma State, and the University of Auckland.
