About
Eddie is Spacemanic’s flight-proven on-board computer for satellite command and data handling (CDHS) and payload processing. Built around an MSP430 microcontroller running FreeRTOS at 32.768 kHz (low power) or 16 MHz (standard), it includes 6x 1 MiB external FRAM for data storage.
Connectivity includes I2C (plus isolated I2C), RS485, UART, CAN, SPI, 3x PWM, and 8x GPIO (4 with 12-bit ADC). Integrated sensors include gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, and temperature sensing. The board measures 67 x 42 x 7.5 mm, weighs 25 g, and draws 60 mW average / 100 mW peak power.
