About
The 1U – 3U Platform is Spacemanic’s modular CubeSat bus, offered starting from 110 000 €, intended for first-time missions, technology demonstrations, and general small satellite work, marketed with extensive flight heritage and quick turnaround times. It is available in three scalable configurations — 1U, 2U and 3U — each defining maximum payload volume, maximum payload mass, available power per PSU channel, power output rails, communication (RF) options, and onboard data interface. The 1U configuration provides up to 0.5U of payload volume, 1 kg of payload mass, and 23 Wh of available power per PSU channel, with UHF/VHF communication options. The 2U configuration provides up to 1.5U of payload volume, 2.5 kg of payload mass, and 48 Wh of available power per PSU channel, adding S-Band and L-Band communication options. The 3U configuration provides up to 2U of payload volume, 4 kg of payload mass, and 48 Wh of available power per PSU channel, also with UHF/VHF, S-Band and L-Band communication options. Power output rails scale from 3.3 V/5 V (1U) to 3.3 V/5 V/12 V (2U and 3U). All configurations share a CSP v1 data interface with I2C, RS-485 and CAN bus support for onboard communication between subsystems and payloads.
