SpyMeSat Mobile App

SpyMeSat provides real-time imaging satellite awareness, on-demand access to satellite imagery archives, and the ability to request new tasking directly from a mobile device. The app lets users preview and purchase the most recent, highest-resolution commercial satellite images of any location through an in-app purchase process, with the entire preview-select-purchase-delivery workflow completed in seconds. Its “World’s Longest Selfie Stick” tasking feature lets any mobile user request that a satellite capture an image of their location, with status updates on request acceptance, imaging time, and processing/delivery.

Built on Orbit Logic’s years of experience working with imaging satellites, SpyMeSat was originally aimed at consumers outside the aerospace, defense, and intelligence communities, though it has since found strong interest within those communities as well. The app provides imaging satellite overflight notifications for a user’s current location or a chosen location, configurable by resolution, imaging phenomenology, or individual satellite, along with pass details such as satellite manufacturer, operator, launch date, and capabilities. SpyMeSat is patented and has received industry awards for expanding public access to satellite imagery and space situational awareness.
