About
The Star Tracker GEO is an autonomous star tracker designed for star-based satellite attitude determination in geostationary orbit (GEO). It achieves 1.5 arcsec cross-boresight (1σ) at 22 Hz or 1 arcsec at 10 Hz, with 10 or 7 arcsec boresight accuracy respectively. The unit including a 30-degree sun exclusion baffle weighs 0.8 kg, consumes 5 W, and operates at 10–32 V over -40 to +50 °C. Released in 2019 with a 5-year service life; prototype has accumulated more than 7 years of flight experience. Customizable.
