About
GA-Synopta develops special metrology and control systems on customer request for industrial or scientific applications. The offering includes an optical test system for automatic measurement of point spread functions, focal lengths, distortion, magnification and spectral transmission; a Differential Image Motion Measurement (DIMM) system for atmospheric turbulence characterisation; control systems for climatic chambers; electronic autocollimators; motor test beds; a test bed for calibration of beam pointing and stabilisation systems; and control and evaluation software, for example for meteo stations or for Lidars used in aerosol/cloud height profiling. These systems support precision optical alignment, environmental testing, and instrument calibration tasks applicable to scientific, industrial and space-related instrumentation development.
