The Synthesized Block Downconverter (VSSBD) from WORK Microwave offers frequency downconversion capabilities across a wide range of bands, from S- to Q-Band, with an L-Band output. These versatile downconverters are designed for both indoor and outdoor installations, catering to standard and customized application requirements. Key features include very low phase noise, typically less than -50 dBc/Hz at 10 Hz, ensuring high signal integrity. The unit incorporates a highly stable OCXO with long-term stability better than 10^-7 per year. For enhanced signal conditioning, an optional adjustable gain slope equalizer is available, providing up to +8 dB per GHz. The VSSBD also features digital gain compensation and can be configured as multi-channel or multi-band converters to meet diverse operational needs.
