About

TAQNIA SPACE’s ‘Next-generation global AERO connectivity service’ is designed for commercial airlines, offering high-throughput inflight connectivity. This service utilizes TAQNIA SPACE’s dedicated satellite assets, including KA HTS over MENA, Europe, and the Atlantic Ocean, and Ku over Southeast Asia and North America. The service aims to provide real broadband speeds exceeding 50 Mbps for passengers flying over MENA/Europe. It includes consistent global coverage for both in-flight mobile phone and internet services, as well as an engaging wireless in-flight TV solution. The service package also provides full STC (EASA/FAA) for various narrow-body and wide-body airframes, including Airbus A320, A321, A330, and Boeing B737, B777-300, B787. A dual-band (Ka/Ku) antenna, designed by TAQNIA SPACE, is mounted on the fuselage beneath a radome. This terminal features high-efficiency horn array apertures, ensuring excellent performance while meeting regulatory requirements and minimizing radome size. Additional KA HTS capacities and coverages will be added with the launch of two new Saudi satellite missions, SGS-1 & 6D, which will expand commercial and government Aero services over Europe, Africa, and MENA regions.
