About
The Transporter-Erector is a specialized piece of ground support equipment intended for the transportation of Integrated Launch Vehicles (ILV), which include automated satellites, unmanned, and manned spacecraft. It moves these vehicles from a technical complex to a launch complex and is capable of returning them if necessary. Its primary function also involves the erection of the ILV onto the launch pad. The system consists of a rigid metal frame mounted on special railway carriages. A boom, equipped with supports and special devices for placing and transporting the ILV, is assembled on this frame. Hydraulic cylinders are integrated for the boom’s erection into an upright position and to facilitate the precise placement of the ILV onto the launch pad supports. Development of this product began in 2014, and it offers a guaranteed service life of 15 years. The estimated production time is 36 months, with an estimated delivery time of 5 months.
