About

Trimble CenterPoint RTX is a global Precise Point Positioning (PPP) GNSS correction service invented by Trimble, delivered via satellite or internet cellular connection to Trimble GNSS receivers anywhere in the world. Unlike traditional RTK surveying, which requires a local base station or regional reference network, CenterPoint RTX computes corrections from a global network of Trimble reference stations and broadcasts them via satellite (L-band), making it ideal for remote, offshore, or large-area projects where base station deployment is impractical. Trimble RTX is the underlying technology powering Trimble’s correction ecosystem including xFill (seamless fill-in for up to indefinite periods when base or VRS signal is lost). CenterPoint RTX delivers 2 cm H / 3 cm V positioning accuracy worldwide with exceptional system uptime monitored 24/7 by Trimble’s global network engineering team. It is compatible with all current Trimble GNSS rover receivers supporting RTX and is available as a subscription service through Trimble’s global distribution partner network.
