About

ULTRASPEC is a high-precision, high-speed imaging photometer mounted on the 2.4m Thai National Telescope, containing a 1k x 1k electron-multiplying CCD with a 7 arcminute field of view and a plate scale of 0.45 arcsec/pixel. It operates over the spectral range 330-1,000 nm and is used for studies of variable stars, exoplanet transits, and lunar occultations. ULTRASPEC saw first light on the TNT on 5 November 2013.
