About
The F1D10588-01 is a miniature etched disc filter designed for high pressure and low gas flow applications. It utilizes chemically etched discs stacked together to provide absolute filtration, superior element strength, extreme cleanliness, and zero media migration. Constructed from titanium alloy, this filter is capable of 40 micron absolute filtration. It has a Maximum Expected Operating Pressure (MEOP) of 4350 psi, a proof pressure of 8700 psi, and a burst pressure of 17400 psi. The filter exhibits very low leakage, less than 1.0 x 10^-6 sccs GHe at MEOP external. It is designed to operate in a temperature range of -22 to 104 °F and can withstand 24.0 Grms random vibration. This type of filter has been used in space and satellite applications since the early 1960s, including human spaceflight programs and scientific missions.
