The F1D10636-01 is an etched disc filter designed for high pressure and low gas flow applications. It utilizes chemically etched discs stacked together to provide absolute filtration, superior element strength, extreme cleanliness, and zero media migration. Constructed from CRES 304L, this filter is capable of 10 micron absolute filtration. It has a Maximum Expected Operating Pressure (MEOP) of 4800 psi, a proof pressure of 7200 psi, and a burst pressure of 12000 psi. The filter exhibits very low leakage, less than 1.0 x 10^-6 sccs GHe at MEOP external. It is designed to operate in a temperature range of -40 to 140 °F and can withstand 36.9 Grms random vibration and 2500 G shock. This type of filter has been used in space and satellite applications since the early 1960s, including human spaceflight programs and scientific missions.
