About
The XTERRA CubeSat Dispenser (XCD) Hybrid is a versatile and patented system designed for deploying CubeSats. It comes in two primary configurations to accommodate a wide range of CubeSat sizes. The XCD-3U/6U Hybrid is user-convertible, supporting 1U, 2U, 3U, or 6UXL compatibility within a single system, eliminating the need for mass model spacers. This configuration also allows for easy combination of two XCDs to form an industry-standard Quadpack. The XCD-12U/16U Hybrid offers user-convertible 12U or 16U compatibility in a single system, also without requiring mass model spacers. This larger version is capable of accepting satellites with lengths ranging from 227mm to 454mm. Both hybrid models are highlighted for providing more payload access than other dispensers on the market. Pricing for the XCD-3U/6U Hybrid starts at $44,750 based on a standard 6U configuration, while the XCD-12U/16U Hybrid starts at $89,750, also based on a standard 6U configuration.
