About

Pulsar Verified is Xona Space Systems’ structured ecosystem and certification program for hardware developers who want to build or retrofit products with native Pulsar signal reception. The program provides a defined technical validation pathway — including access to Pulsar signal simulators, live-sky test data from Pulsar-0, software development kits, and integration support — allowing receiver manufacturers, chipset integrators, and test equipment vendors to confirm compatibility and achieve the Pulsar Verified designation.

Because Pulsar’s X1 and X5 signals occupy L-band spectrum adjacent to GPS L1 and L5, existing dual-band GNSS receiver hardware requires only a firmware or software update to ingest Pulsar signals alongside conventional GNSS. This means Pulsar Verified certification can extend to legacy equipment: Trimble has brought devices manufactured from 2018 onward into Pulsar compatibility through the program. Septentrio (part of Hexagon) is rolling Pulsar integration across its full next-generation device lineup. Other inaugural cohort participants include STMicroelectronics, Safran, StarNav, and Keysight.

For end-users and system integrators, the Pulsar Verified mark signals that a receiver has been independently validated against the Pulsar signal and is ready to deliver the full Pulsar performance envelope — centimeter-level positioning, sub-10 ns timing, range authentication, and enhanced jamming resilience — as the constellation scales toward full global coverage.

GNSS simulation infrastructure from partners such as Spirent and Safran enables pre-constellation evaluation and hardware-in-the-loop testing without requiring live satellite passes.
