Its primary applications include marine ecology studies, pollution monitoring, and biological resource management. The satellite is equipped with two main payloads: a 500-meter hyperspectral camera and a 10-meter panchromatic camera. Both payloads offer a wide swath width of 100 kilometers at an altitude of 500 kilometers, enabling extensive coverage of marine areas. The hyperspectral camera operates within a spectral range of 500nm to 1000nm, featuring 50 spectral segments and a spectral resolution of 10nm. This capability allows for detailed analysis of seawater quality, including the identification of phytoplankton, suspended solids, and dissolved organic matter. The panchromatic camera provides higher spatial resolution for general imaging.
