Launch Insurance

SAB Launch Services arranges insurance cover for the spacecraft it flies, so the operator does not have to place it separately. Cover is sold alongside the launch service and sized to the mission: pre-launch cover for the spacecraft during transport, storage and integration, and launch cover through separation and the early orbit phase.

Because the company aggregates many passengers across Vega and Vega-C missions, cover is placed on group terms rather than as a one-off policy, which the company presents as its main advantage on price for small operators.

Cover is quoted per mission on request, once spacecraft value, orbit and launch date are known.
