About this service

SAB Launch Services carries out the integration of the passenger spacecraft onto the launch vehicle structure — the SSMS dispenser, or the VESPA and VAMPIRE adapters, depending on the mission. The scope covers interface control between spacecraft and launcher, fit checks, mechanical mounting, electrical connection and verification, and the associated documentation and acceptance.

Integration activities within Europe are performed at the SAB facility in Brno, Czech Republic. Final integration and pre-flight operations take place at the European Space Port in Kourou, French Guiana, where the company also supports the passenger through the launch campaign.

The dispenser hardware itself is designed and built within the SAB group, so interface questions are answered by the same organisation that made the structure.
