About Aerospacelab

Aerospacelab is a Belgian satellite manufacturer founded in 2017, headquartered in Mont-Saint-Guibert. The company designs, builds, and operates versatile satellite platforms (VSP) targeting the 50–300 kg class — a performance-per-cost sweet spot between CubeSats and large GEO satellites.

Aerospacelab's Versatile Satellite Platform (VSP) family — VSP-50, VSP-150, and VSP-300 — shares a standardized modular core optimized for serial manufacturing and rapid integration. The VSP-150 has been the workhorse platform, flying six satellites in orbit including Earth-observation, RF-sensing, and hosted-payload missions. The VSP-50 leverages VSP-150 heritage subsystems and avionics in a smaller thermo-mechanical envelope, while the VSP-300 targets larger missions including JAXA's SAMRAI project.

The company operates a production facility in Belgium with capacity for serial manufacturing of entire constellations, with a Megafactory in Charleroi targeting 500 satellites per year. Aerospacelab serves institutional and commercial customers globally, including Belgian Defence, JAXA, Xona Space Systems, and Vyoma.
