About
The VSP-150 is Aerospacelab’s most mature and widely deployed satellite platform. Flight-proven at TRL9 since 2021, it has powered multiple operational satellites including Earth-observation missions (Rose, IPERLITE), RF-sensing satellites (Riri, Fifi, Loulou), and the Grégoire dual-use demonstration satellite.
Each VSP-150 satellite masses approximately 136–150 kg and is sized at roughly 114 × 70 × 70 cm, optimized to fit a ½ plate on the SpaceX Falcon 9 Transporter rideshare mission profile. Orbital life is 5 years in 525 km Sun-synchronous orbit.
The platform supports a wide range of payload types: multispectral and very-high-resolution optical imagers, Radio Frequency (RF) monitoring instruments, and telecommunications payloads. Its modular, standardized core is designed for serial manufacturing, making it well-suited for constellation deployment orders. Reference customers include Belgian Defence and Vyoma (space domain awareness).
