Memetis's custom SMA actuators are made from foil-based shape memory alloys that remember their original shape after deformation and restore it when heated, releasing large forces over significant travel distances. They can be designed in various shapes for in-plane displacement, plane lifting, or out-of-plane movement, with travel distance, force, and actuator dimensions all customizable.
