About
The NC Microvalves are only 5 mm wide, allowing integration of multiple valves in very tight spaces. They are current-regulated, switch noiselessly, can be proportionally controlled, and are media-separated for use with both gases and liquids. Internally, current heats the SMA actuator to work against a spring, releasing a ball from the valve seat, while an elastic membrane between ball and seat keeps fluid out of the actuator section. Two off-the-shelf variants are offered: Classic (0 to 3 bar) and Negative Pressure (-0.7 to 2 bar); High Pressure and High Flow variants are available on request.
