About Muon Space

Founded in 2021, Muon Space is an end-to-end space systems company that designs, builds, and operates mission-optimized satellite constellations to deliver critical data and enable real-time compute and decision-making in space. The company is built by a team of professionals from Skybox, NASA, SpaceX, and other leading organizations, and is headquartered in Mountain View, California, with a 130,000-square-foot high-mix satellite manufacturing facility in San Jose, California.

Muon Space's proprietary technology stack, Halo, integrates advanced spacecraft platforms (the Condor family, including Condor-M, Condor-Ultra, and the MuSat/MuSat XL buses), robust payload integration and management, and a software-defined orchestration layer spanning simulation, spacecraft, ground, and cloud systems (MuSim, MuOS, MuCore, and MuDash) to enable high-performance capabilities at unprecedented speed, from concept to orbit.

Muon Space has multiple constellations on orbit for commercial and national security customers, including the FireSat wildfire-detection constellation built in partnership with Earth Fire Alliance, Hydrosat's thermal-infrared agriculture-monitoring satellites, SNC's Vindler RF constellation, and Hubble Network's satellite-powered Bluetooth network, as well as contracts with the U.S. Space Force, Space Development Agency, and National Reconnaissance Office. The company has raised more than $200 million across multiple funding rounds, including a $146 million Series B, to scale its satellite constellation production and mission delivery.
