Constellation Production

Muon Space’s Constellation Production offers a high-mix production system, Forge Production, engineered to deliver Condor satellites at the cadence constellations demand: hundreds per year, scaling with demand. The Factory OS manages full flowdown from design to production, coordinating shared interfaces, common tooling, and repeatable quality controls from the first unit. Multiple constellation configurations move through a single production line, each built to its mission configuration from the start. We control over 90% of the spacecraft bill of materials, designing and manufacturing the most supply-chain-critical subsystems in-house, eliminating critical path dependencies on external suppliers. Rigorous acceptance and qualification are performed through Forge Test, with testing beginning at the component and subsystem level. Every electronic design undergoes Vibration, Thermal cycling, Thermal Vacuum Chamber (TVAC), and Electromagnetic Interference / Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMI/EMC) testing. Automation is central to how Forge Test scales, with automated test execution, telemetry analysis, and pass/fail verdicts eliminating operator variability. Forge Assurance ensures full traceability, with every procedure performed against flight hardware documented, revision-controlled, and traceable in our manufacturing execution system. Serialized parts kits track every flight component from receipt through delivery, allowing for root cause analysis of defects and propagation of changes across the entire fleet.
