Description
NewSpace Systems' Gemini Receiver line consists of L1-frequency GPS units built on proven heritage chipset technology. Both models support space-altitude and velocity applications with NMEA083 and binary protocol output options. The Gemini-SR5 operates from a 5V supply while the Gemini-MR28 accepts unregulated 28V input with latch-up protection and watchdog timer. Both are radiation-tolerant COTS designs in compact, low-mass packages. Over 80 receivers and 70 antennas have been delivered across multiple international missions with over a decade of flight heritage. Applications include orbital position determination, maneuver tracking, and payload time/position tagging.
