About
The 12U MyPOD2 is a versatile tool designed for the qualification, testing, fit-checks, storage, and transportation of CubeSats. It offers support for a range of configurations, including 1x12U, 2x6U, 4x3U, or mixed 1U, 2U, and 3U CubeSats. The MyPOD2 can be equipped with several of Gran Systems’ CubeSat configurations, and vibration table adapter plates are also available. It is built to withstand environmental conditions with a temperature range of -50°C to +100°C. Physically, it has external dimensions of 268 x 266 x 442.1 mm, with a rail size of 227 x 227 mm, and can accommodate CubeSats up to 226.3 x 226.3 x 366.0 mm. The unit itself has an empty mass of 15 kg and can support a maximum payload mass of 19.2 kg, suitable for a 24 kg-class CubeSat in space. It is constructed from Al 6061 T6 material with an anodized surface treatment and features mounting interfaces of 6x M5 (H) and 12x M5 (V).
