About
The 3U MyPOD1 is a versatile ground support tool designed for the qualification, acceptance testing, dimensional fit-check, and storage and transportation of CubeSats. It supports various configurations of 1U, 1.5U, 2U, and 3U CubeSats. Due to its construction, it is claimed to be the test pod capable of carrying the heaviest CubeSats in the industry, and offers exceptional launch vibration performance. The manufacturer states it has supported many space missions. The 3U MyPOD1 can be equipped with several of the manufacturer’s CubeSat configurations, and Vibration Table Adapter Plates are also available as accessories. It is built from Al 6061 T6 material with an anodized surface treatment, and features a mounting interface of 6x M5 (horizontal) and 4x M5 (vertical) points. It is rated for an environmental temperature range of -50°C to +100°C.
