About
The PM200 is a bi-propellant propulsion module offered in partnership with Dawn Aerospace, intended for use in 3-6U CubeSats. It allows manoeuvres of up to 230 m/s of velocity increment using non-toxic propellants (nitrous oxide and propene) in a self-pressurizing configuration. Low system complexity and zero propellant toxicity allow for simple and robust ground and on-orbit operations. The standard 1U configuration can deliver in excess of 230 m/s of delta-v to a 4 kg 3U CubeSat, using a single 0.5 N thruster with integrated thrust vector control to compensate for inherent thruster disturbance torques. It features a ready-to-fire wake-up capability and an I2C or RS422/RS485 compliant interface, and can be seamlessly integrated with AAC Hyperion’s line of integrated ADCS systems for a full GNC solution. Through additive manufacturing, the system is highly customizable in delta-v, interface style, and thrust direction.
