About

I-Booster is Manastu Space’s green chemical propulsion system with four 1N thrusters, designed for satellites requiring higher delta-v such as orbit raising, station-keeping, and de-orbit maneuvers. It offers a safer, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional hydrazine-based propulsion, delivering precise orbit control while eliminating the toxicity, handling complexity, and ground contamination risks of hydrazine. Designed for 100-500 kg satellites, I-Booster was delivered to India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in December 2024 after four years of development funded by DRDO’s Technology Development Fund, for satellite maneuvering and powering defence satellites.
