About
The Akash Ka-S CubeSat Radio is a dual-frequency software-defined radio enabling Ka-band high-rate data downlink combined with S-band command and telemetry uplink in a single CubeSat-compatible unit. Built on Akash Systems’ GaN-on-Diamond platform, it provides the high RF efficiency needed for frequent downlink passes in LEO small satellite missions. The Ka-S configuration makes it particularly suitable for Earth-observation CubeSats requiring both operational command links and high-volume imagery downlink.
