About

The Antenna-feeder Device BIS-MV is designed for use as part of the on-board radio systems of Meteor-M spacecraft, transmitting low-resolution meteorological signals to stations for receiving information of widespread use. It operates at 137 MHz with 0–64 degrees communication angle. System mass is 2 kg, comprising a transmitting antenna and feeder. Released in 2000 with 8-year service life and 6-month delivery time.
