About
ASCA is a reusable rocket system designed to transport people and cargo into space, and to enable one-hour global transportation via space. The name ASCA is derived from the Asuka period in Japanese history, symbolizing the company’s commitment to rapidly absorbing technology across fields and borders to achieve speedy growth. The ASCA rockets are designed for high reusability, with a turnaround capability of once a day and a lifespan of over 1,000 flights with proper maintenance. They can deploy 10 tons of personnel and supplies to Earth orbit (around 400km altitude) and are designed to transport approximately 50 passengers with an aircraft-level safety probability. The roadmap includes ASCA 1 in 2028 for launching 100kg-class satellites, ASCA 2 in 2032 for manned space transport, and ASCA 3 in the 2040s for single-stage, high-frequency, high-volume, and low-cost space transportation.
