About
Data Patterns has over 20 years of experience in developing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for critical aerospace requirements. Their initial product, the DP-800 Multi Programmer with associated test automation software, was adopted for test rigs for Navigation Platform Test Benches, Engine Test Bed Automation, and Cable Harness Test Systems. This product was notably utilized by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and Geo Stationary Launch Vehicle (GSLV). Building on this foundation, Data Patterns now develops cPCI-based test systems for laboratory applications and VME-based test systems for challenging environmental conditions. The company has developed a range of specialized ATE solutions, including a complete system for validating Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) in the Seaking Helicopter, the BrahMos Missile Checkout Equipment, and an ATE for the Digital Flight Control Computer. They also offer a Power Module Checkout ATE specifically designed for testing DC-DC power modules used in India’s space program, exhaustively checking all design parameters. Other offerings include a Generic RF ATE for radar and radar subsystems, high-reliability Cable Harness Test Systems for launch vehicles, aircraft, and missiles, and a Bus Management Unit (BMU) test solution capable of testing over 3000 I/Os with special circuits for thermovac chambers. The Second Launch Pad Count Down system, implemented with VXI hardware, features a redundant system handling up to 14000 I/O. Furthermore, Data Patterns provides a Redundant Strap down Inertial Navigation System (RESINS) checkout test station with various functional I/O modules, a Scan Mirror Test system for validating satellite scan mirror mechanisms, and a Strain Data Acquisition System for large structures like launch vehicle fuel tanks and motor casings using a 24-bit Sigma Delta ADC.
