About
The Blue Canyon Technologies Nano Star Tracker (NST) is an industry-trusted star tracker qualified beyond GEVS (General Environmental Verification Standard) level environments, providing a low size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) solution with high performance. It is a turnkey starlight-in, quaternion-out system that integrates easily across spacecraft platforms and is suited even for the most challenging and sensitive missions. The NST tracks stars down to 7.5 magnitude and uses an on-board star catalog of more than 20,000 stars, making it an ideal fit for both standalone spacecraft missions and large satellite constellations. It is described as flight-proven, high-performing, and reliable, and is part of Blue Canyon Technologies’ broader BCT Components product line alongside reaction wheels, control moment gyroscopes, solar arrays, solar array drive assemblies, and batteries.
