The BELKA-2 Research Equipment is a bio-crystallizer designed for conducting experiments on cultivation of protein crystals in space flight conditions during the Bion-M spacecraft mission. It supports research related to growth of protein crystals by the methods of liquid (counter diffusion) and gas diffusion in zero-gravity conditions. Guaranteed service life 2 years. Not yet flight qualified. Adaptable to customer requirements.
