About

The BH300 Helmholtz Coils are constructed using aluminium split coil formers that can be electrically connected to also generate a low-strength magnetic field. The BH300HF-B model is based on the design of the BH300-A but features a reduced number of turns, allowing it to be driven at much higher frequencies. These coils are available in five models, each offering different combinations of X, Y, and Z axis configurations. Optional mounting plates (DUTST) and sensor jigs are also available. Key features include the option of 1, 2, or 3 axes, and the ability to use coil formers as a single-turn Helmholtz coil to add additional signals on top of the main field. Applications include the calibration of three-axis magnetic field sensors and the creation of a known magnetic environment.
