About
The TRINITY ABE is the air breathing thruster of Blue Orbit Space Systems’ TRINITY series, designed for very low Earth orbit operation.
It runs on argon or nitrogen propellant and delivers under 20 mN of thrust at up to 2000 seconds specific impulse, with efficiency below 60%, a total impulse below 1500 kN-s over a life of up to 3000 hours and 5000 on/off cycles. The operating altitude band is 180-250 km (VLEO).
The quoted mass of 2.5 kg includes both the thruster and the cathode.
