The Cold Ammonia Corrective Propulsion System (CPS) is intended for correction and stabilization of orbit parameters and for zeroing the kinetic moment of flywheel engines in a spacecraft’s orientation system. The installation comprises a working fluid tank fitted with a film electric heater, a receiver, a steam generator, and a valve with an integrated micro nozzle; ammonia serves as the working body, which is vaporized via the steam generator/heater assembly before being expelled through the micro nozzle valve to produce thrust. It was released in 2014, has a guaranteed service life of 5 years, and an estimated production/delivery time of 12 months. The product is flight-qualified, with components having flown on the ‘Meteor’ and ‘Electro’ spacecraft. It can be adapted to customer requirements.
