About
The Cosmoworks Satellite Bus is a compact and integrated satellite platform designed for various space missions. It measures 100 x 100 x 340mm and has a mass of 3.7kg. The bus incorporates essential subsystems including an On-Board Computer (OBC), Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS), Communication system, and Electrical Power System (EPS). The ADCS features actuators such as three Reaction Wheels and XYZ Magnetorquers, complemented by sensors including two Star Trackers (CST), a Sun sensor, an Earth sensor, Magnetometers, and a GPS receiver. For communication, the bus supports S-band (2.1GHz) and UHF-band (436MHz). The EPS is powered by a battery pack consisting of four 18650 cells and solar cells. An optional Earth Observation (EO) Telescope, AST-01, is available as a payload. This telescope operates in the spectral band of 400 ~ 700nm, offering a Ground Sample Distance (GSD) of 4m at 500km and a Swath width of 10.3km at 500km. Its MTF is greater than 0.2 at Nyquist frequency, with a focal length of 600mm and a sensor pixel size of 4.8um (2592 x 2048). The telescope itself has dimensions of 95 x 95 x 148mm and an operational temperature range of -20 to +80°C.
