Cryogenic Cabling
Cryogenic cable superinsulation is built from a combination of reflective thin films and low thermally conductive fabric spacer material that lessens heat flux, effectively maintaining cryogen for long periods.
About
Aerospace Fabrication provides custom pipe wraps for various cryogenic cables, including High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) cables and pipes for cryostats and large tank systems. Due to the nature of these systems, many cryogenic cables are wrapped by hand, layer by layer, using precise methods and procedures to achieve optimal thermal performance over right corners and pipe transitions. Long HTS cables are designed to be mechanically wrapped to ensure repeatable performance over extended runs. Aerospace Fabrication offers a variety of insulation solutions that integrate with clients’ production processes. Each cable superinsulation system is custom-tailored for stellar performance, ensuring that the services and products received meet specific client needs.
